dc.description.abstract | Background: Spinal anaesthesia has many advantages like low cost, reduced risk of aspiration even in patients who are considered to be full stomach and reduced blood loss. There is relaxation of abdominal muscles and this facilitates surgical approach. The main limitation of spinal anaesthesia is that it is limited in duration2 and patient’s anxiety which adds to the technical difficulties. | en_US |
